Andrei began playing and studying the piano in 1987 at the age of four.

 

He is a member of the Arts Council  of CREDIDAM  and a member of UCMR-ADA, the neighboring rights and author's rights societies of Romania.

In 2008 Andrei become a member of the Union of Composers and Musicologists of Romania (U.C.M.R).

Andrei also holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (PhD) and is a Lector in the Composition Department of UNMB - National University of Music Bucharest (Bucharest Conservatory).
